1. Shaniwar wada
Built in 1732, Shaniwar Wada was the magnificent seven-storey capital building of then Maratha Empire. It continues to be one of the greatest architectural masterpieces in Indian . This place , till date, attracts almost 300 tourists from across the globe on a daily basis
Well, this is one of the oldest bakeries in Pune which was opened in the year 1955 by three brothers.
As you enter the bakery, you can see different types of biscuits and cakes being prepared. You can never ignore the wonderful aroma that hits all your senses. I’ll recommend you guys to must try their ginger biscuits. These are just awesome.
3. Parvati hills
The Parvati Hill is situated in the southern end of the city and it takes 108 steps to climb atop the hill to get a magnificent view of the city. The hill has four temples dedicated to Shiva, Ganesh, Vishnu and Kartikeya . Apart from the temples you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise view from the top only if you are an early riser like me!!
4. Aga Khan Palace
The grand Aga Khan Palace is set in a peaceful wooded 6.5-hectare plot northeast of the centre .The main palace now houses the Gandhi National Memorial where you can peek into the room where the Mahatma used to stay. Photos and paintings exhibit moments in his extraordinary life.
